Description
Kanna is a small groundcover plant native to Southern Africa, historically eaten, chewed or used as a snuff producing alertness which gently fades into relaxation. Kanna tea is sometimes used to wean alcoholics off alcohol as it is well revered as a mood enhancer, relaxant and empathogen, it is only now being sought by the West for its remarkable capacities to uplift the mood and increase energy levels and concentration spans.
Kanna may also be used to relieve symptoms of depression, stress and tension, similar in function to the more well-known herb St John s Wort. This herb may also improve cognitive function, reduce high blood pressure and be helpful in cases of post-traumatic stress disorder, social phobia and general irritability.
Preparation: Make 1-2 small balls and swallow in water, or melt with warm water or herbal teas. Break off small amounts to blend with your favourite smoking herbs. 5g Jar.
